Boise State Broncos mounted a thrilling comeback to defeat the San Jose State Spartans 35-27. San Jose State started strong with a 14-0 lead in the first quarter, courtesy of touchdowns by Kairee Robinson and Chevan Cordeiro. However, Boise State slowly clawed back, scoring in each subsequent quarter.
The Broncos seized the momentum in the second half with Taylen Green’s dual rushing touchdowns in the third and fourth quarters. Green also connected with Riley Smith late in the fourth quarter to seal the game. The Spartans' initial dominance was curtailed by key defensive efforts and turnovers.
