Ohio State dominated Minnesota in a decisive 37-3 victory. The Buckeyes established control early, opening the scoring with a 9-yard touchdown run by TreVeyon Henderson. Ohio State's defense stifled the Golden Gophers, allowing only three points the entire game.
The second half saw even greater offensive efficiency from the Buckeyes, including a remarkable 75-yard touchdown run by Henderson. Minnesota's only scoring came late in the fourth quarter with a 54-yard field goal by Dragan Kesich. Overall, Ohio State's balanced attack and solid defense proved too much for Minnesota to handle.
