The Missouri Tigers triumphed over the Tennessee Volunteers with a convincing 36-7 victory. Missouri was led offensively by running back Cody Schrader and quarterback Brady Cook, who both played pivotal roles in securing the win. The Volunteers struggled to keep up, scoring only once early in the game, after which Missouri’s defense asserted dominance.
Tennessee's lone touchdown came early in the second quarter through a 46-yard pass from Joe Milton III to Dont'e Thornton Jr. Missouri, however, responded with solid offensive drives and three field goals from Harrison Mevis. Missouri's defense closed out the game strong, with Daylan Carnell returning an interception for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to seal the dominating win.
